The Carol Bendure Peace and Justice Scholarship Fund honors the memory of Carol Bendure by supporting students whose work advances peace, justice, and human dignity. A lifelong Grosse Pointer — one of five generations — Carol was a community organizer who co-founded Pointes for Peace. She spent her life showing up — at marches and protests, in meeting halls and living rooms — and mentoring others to find the courage to stand up for what they believed in. This fund carries that legacy forward by investing in the next generation of peacemakers and change-makers.

Carol Bendure Peace and Scholarship Fund Mission:

To support Southeast Michigan students whose service and leadership advance peace, justice, equity, and human  dignity — and to help them carry that commitment into their post-secondary education and beyond.
