Terms of Use

WeGP reserves the right to update the Terms of Use at any time without notice to you. Check back for changes or updates.

Membership

Membership fees to WeGP are not refundable. If the member leaves WeGP prior the anniversary date of that member’s entry, none of the membership fee is refunded. Only Members will fully-paid accounts in good standing have access to Members Only sections of the Website. Members Only sections of the Website that provide information and opportunities to interact with other Members. This may include the ability to post content. Please see section on User-Contributed content in Terms of Use. Any infractions of the Terms of Use may result in suspension or expulsion from WeGP. 

Payment

Payment processing services for WeGP on WeGP.com are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a Member on WeGP.com you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of  WeGP.com enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide WeGP.com accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize WeGP.com to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.

Donations - Tax deductible contributions

WE GP is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations to WE GP can be deducted from taxes to the extent allowed by law. The applicable EIN is 81-5281490.

Privacy

A Membership Directory, accessible to members only, will include your first name, last name, city and interests. After you join, you may opt-out of any or all of this information appearing in the Membership Directory by editing your member profile. WeGP will not share or sell any of your personal information with any other organization or government agency except with permission, as outlined in these Terms of Use, or as required by law. The information we collect about you may include your mailing or email address and your telephone number. Individually identifiable information is used to provide you with announcements and information about WeGP, activities and events, and other information we believe may have value. If you provide your mailing address, telephone number or email address to WeGP, you may receive periodic communication from us. You can elect not to receive communications from us, by contacting us using the Contact form to let us know.

Content Re-Use

Any copies that you make of the materials on WeGP must retain all copyright and other notices of WeGP. Except as expressly provided for in this Terms of Use, you may not reproduce, modify, publish, transmit, display, perform, distribute, disseminate, broadcast or circulate any materials to any third party, or participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works or in any way exploit the content of the WeGP Website or any portion thereof without express prior written consent of WeGP.

User-Contributed Content

WeGP members may have ability to provide content and post content to WeGP for use in the public domain or in Member Only sections of the site. Content you provide to and post on WeGP is covered by the Creative Commons license. In addition, you grant WeGP a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, create derivative works from, distribute, and display this content in any media.

Text, graphics, data, and other content posted by users on WeGP are the sole responsibility of those users. This means that (a) WeGP does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, integrity, or quality of user-created content, and (b) you, and not WeGP, are entirely responsible for all content you post or otherwise make available via WeGP.com. WeGP reserves the right to remove or edit user-created content, but shall not be obligated to do so on any particular basis.

The content you post or otherwise make available via WeGP.com may not be illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise injurious to third parties, and may result in suspension or expulsion from WeGP.  You may not impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of your content. You will indemnify WeGP or its affiliates for all claims resulting from content you supply. 

Further, you may not make use of WeGP’s Website or services to forge e-mail headers, or send bulk unsolicited e-mail messages ("spam").

Comment Policy

Comments are available on many pages and posts on this site. We welcome your comments and expect that our conversation will follow the general rules of respectful civil discourse. If comments are held for review, we will review comments for posting within a reasonable time frame, generally one business day.We will only post comments related to our purpose. You’re fully responsible for everything that you submit in your comments, and all posted comments are in the public domain. We don’t discriminate against any views, but we reserve the right to not post comments and the right to remove comments. We do not post comments and/or may remove comments that are off-topic, spam, or overtly self-promoting.  Users should be aware that when they voluntarily disclose personal information such as user name or email address on forums or in chat areas, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other parties.
