10th Annual GP Pride BY WEGP!

Saturday, June 20th | 10AM-12:30PM in the Village

WEGP will be hosting its 10th annual Grosse Pointe Pride celebration on Saturday, June 20th from 10AM-12:30PM. Participants are encouraged to bring friends, neighbors, as well as leashed and friendly pups along for this family-friendly event.

We will meet at the parking lot across from the GP Central Library (next to Richard Elementary) and march to the main event location on the corner of Cadieux & Waterloo at Maire Elementary. Festivities will also include family-friendly Drag Performances, activities for children, guest speakers, activism opportunities, and so much more! Bring your signs, your joy, your pride, and your commitment to full equality.

10:00 Gather in Richard Elementary parking lot (across from GPPL Central)

10:05-10:30 Kickoff speakers

10:30-11:15 March down Kercheval to Maire Elementary

11:00 Music, tables and activities begin

11:00-11:30 Children’s Interactive Story time and games for young folks and families at the stage

11:30-12:30 Crystal Harding and crew Family Friendly Pride Drag Performances

12:30 Event Concludes
